The Beginning
As the first leaves of Autumn start to fall in the rivers and creeks of Western North Carolina the water is starting to get a little more chilly than usual. The wind has a bit more of a bite and the trees are beginning to show signs of their annual show of color. This time of year has and probably will always be my favorite time. There is something about the cool breeze and shortening of days that just puts me in a good place.
