Firmly Rooted
A tree grows on the bank of the Oconaluftee River near Cherokee, NC. I light fog began to form in the distance just above the water as the rain poured down on me I struggled to find a good composition. For some reason this tree just kept calling out to me, with the mountain laurel blooming in the background I felt as though it really embodied the beauty of the Oconaluftee in the spring.
