Painted With Light
I have often heard of Jumping Off Rock overlooking Lake Jocassee but until recently I didn't have a vehicle that could make the rough 9.8 mile drive up the rocky dirt road. Ive recently acquired the vehicle capable of making the journey and was very excited to finally make the journey to the spot I've heard so much about. I arrived about 3 hours before the sunset and quickly set up scouting to find the composition I was looking for. Once I got my camera set up. I sat and enjoyed the views with my wife until the sun went down and then I got to work. The sky was quickly painted with the light from the sun as it disappeared below the horizon. I will say that the road is rough, but the view at the end is well worth the journey.
